The Polish Sarcoma and Melanoma Patients Association conducts activities in order to bring about an increase in the quality of cancer treatment in Poland. It supports patients and their loved ones during therapy and works to raise awareness in the field of education and cancer prevention. It is active in many areas of public life related to cancer, particularly in the field of melanomas and sarcomas (cancers of the skin and bone and soft tissue)

FISP has provided funding for two children to receive prosthetic limbs after suffering from Sarcoma. Our aim is to provide further funding in 2020.

Is an organization whose primary statutory activity is, and has been for the past 100 years, “ … the philanthropic assistance to those in difficult life situations, primarily the elderly of both sexes or people with disabilities incapable of earning their living…" The Society has been established by a group of people involved in charity work under the name of “Saint Joseph’s Care for Poor and Children” (1882-1894), subsequently form 1895 as the philanthropic Board of Guardians of the Saint Francis de Sales Almshouse.

FSP has been instrumental in providing funding for equipment for the rahabilitaion of the elderly as well as providing funding for various equiment for the society.

The Educational Centre in Laski was created by Elżbieta Roża Czacka. She considered her loss of sight as a vocation. In 1911 she founded The Society for the Care of the Blind and a couple of years later – the Franciscan Sisters Servants of the Cross. Both of these , in the second decade of the XX-th century, became foundations for the creation of the Institute for the Blind.

Mother Elżbieta Czacka was aware of the need for the proper education of the blind to enable them to live independently and responsibly. This is why The Centre in Laski educates blind children from their first months of life until the Baccalaureate and Professional Exams in an atmosphere of self-respect and openness to others. In the future, this will enable the blind to live independently amongst their family, work environment, and in a society of sighted people.

FISP have donated funding for the provision of specialist teaching materials and equipment.

Oncology Clinic cooperates with the Department of Radiotherapy, the Department of Clinical Oncology, the Department of Oncological Surgery, the Department of Oncological Gynecology, the Department of Pathomorphology, which allows comprehensive treatment of cancer patients.

The hospital was in serious need of new equipment and FISP has provided funding for specialist beds for Oncology patients.

In addition to treating and controlling cancer, the Oncological Outpatient Clinic conducts preventive activities for breast diseases (breast dysplasia, breast inflammation, cysts, benign nodules).

FISP were able to support the hospital by using funds from the 2019 ball and helping to replace older equipment. These beds are very expensive and the hospital lacked funding to purchase them independently.
