MMA Consulting Engineers has a core team that has spent most of their careers working within the industrial sector and has accrued an immense amount of knowledge and experience. We believe in a partnership approach with our clients to ensure that our designs and documentation processes are completely aligned with the specific requirements of each project and a key goal is to ensure alignment from the outset.

Our areas of expertise include the Food, Drink, Semiconductor and Pharmaceutical industries and our design expertise for the latter includes the API, Biotechnical, Oral Solid Dosage, Parenteral, Topical, Gene Therapy, Medical Device and Animal Healthcare processes. We have a team of process and quality engineers that understand both the complexities of the process and also the regulatory constraints that must be adhered to at all stages of a project, for both Research & Development and Manufacturing facilities.

We have also worked on many safety, clean and black utility projects in support of the core manufacturing processes and understand the needs of the GMP facilities, including maximizing uptime and optimizing maintenance requirements. Our design team includes personnel that held senior engineering roles in the pharma industry and fully understand the needs of the key stakeholders in the business.

Our capabilities and experience encompasses feasibility studies for new or expanding processes, as well as preliminary and detailed design packs to allow projects be evaluated and costed. We routinely provide support through the tendering, procurement, construction support and commissioning activities through to handover. We have a keen understanding of the GMP and qualification requirements of these industries and provide support from cradle to grave.

We have specific expertise in delivering projects using BIM and are keen advocates for using COBie to provide fast and accurate information for supporting the planned maintenance of new facilities.
