Each IFC model object can have a BCF messages about issue. Use BCF to avoid miscommunication about model and site issues! MMA are innovators in the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.researchgate.net\/publication\/315786696_Automatic_Open_Standard_Reporting_for_Dimensional_Control_Compliance\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=https:\/\/www.researchgate.net\/publication\/315786696_Automatic_Open_Standard_Reporting_for_Dimensional_Control_Compliance&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1604934215038000&amp;usg=AFQjCNEymrEM_OG8VfQIrIhOaYU2Sm8dwg\">use of BCF for new application.<\/a><u><\/u><u><\/u><\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b><span lang=\"EN-US\">IDM \u2013\u00a0<\/span><\/b><span lang=\"EN-US\">Business cases and processes to satisfy them are analyzed and mapped to the IFC data schema using\u00a0 ISO 29481-1 Information Delivery Manual. An (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.buildingsmart.org\/standards\/bsi-standards\/information-delivery-manual\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=https:\/\/www.buildingsmart.org\/standards\/bsi-standards\/information-delivery-manual\/&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1604934215038000&amp;usg=AFQjCNED9ZnFvgmfXXK5srD3YW4XIYRA3g\">IDM<\/a>) is a\u00a0 methodology to capture and specify processes and information flow during the lifecycle of a facility.<u><\/u><u><\/u><\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b><span lang=\"EN-US\">MVD \u2013\u00a0<\/span><\/b><span lang=\"EN-US\">A Model View Definitions (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.buildingsmart.org\/standards\/bsi-standards\/model-view-definitions-mvd\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=https:\/\/www.buildingsmart.org\/standards\/bsi-standards\/model-view-definitions-mvd\/&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1604934215038000&amp;usg=AFQjCNE3pomS7l-4URxrIAPU457tjV43vw\">MVD<\/a>) is a defined subset of the IFC scheme that is utilised to satisfy one or many exchange requirements, and are used to share and exchange IFC based data. No one actually uses the full IFC data model at any given time. An MVD is\u00a0 defined using IDM.<u><\/u><u><\/u><\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b><span lang=\"EN-US\">bSDD \u2013\u00a0<\/span><\/b><span lang=\"EN-US\">The buildingSMART Data Dictionary (<\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.buildingsmart.org\/users\/services\/buildingsmart-data-dictionary\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=https:\/\/www.buildingsmart.org\/users\/services\/buildingsmart-data-dictionary\/&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1604934215038000&amp;usg=AFQjCNFXoUZr5c8qNH4YVtPOWzT8fb7oYA\">bSDD<\/a><\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\">) facilitates ISO 12006-3, ISO 23386\/7, and Linked Data. If you are using a classification system within your IFC compliant BIM application, then you have already begun the first step is using bSDD. ISO 19650 is meant to help in this regard, but it alone is of no use. We use ISO 16739 IFC and 19650 together!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Below are standardised MVDs for particular \u201ccontractable\u201d information exchanges. MMA specialises in the use of these exchanges.
