LASER SCANNING<\/span><\/h2>[vc_empty_space height=”15px”][vc_column_text]Our 3D laser scanning team delivers millimetre precision point clouds and BIM models of existing buildings & facilities. We carry out all scans with our own team, process the data in-house and develop full BIM models from the generated point clouds.[\/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”1288″ img_size=”full”][vc_column_text]Typical scope of work for 3D laser scanning includes;<\/p>\n

  • 3D scanning of existing building & facilities to generate as-built drawing in standard 2D and BIM format.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    • 3D scanning of existing building & facilities to generate point clouds (BIM models). This as-built data is then used to enable MEP (mechanical, electrical & process) design.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      • 3D scanning is used during construction management to ensure the BIM Design model and constructed reality match. MMA delivers this service through a combination of our in-house survey team and the use of BIM & Scan AutoCorr\u2122 cloud-based software as part of our design and construction workflows.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
